Well, I am offically no longer a freshman. ^___^ My first year of college was great and I'm looking forward to next year. With one year behind me I'll be way more confident in what I'm able to do outside of the classroom and will hopefully get involved with new clubs/people/community service. Stuff like that.
And now it's summer. I'm waiting to hear back from a few different places for jobs, so I should have on secured soon. I have family coming to visit in a few weeks from California, some puppies to take pictures of around the 22nd (Great Danes! They're going to be adorable!), a graduation to attend in North Carolina, and hopefully my friend from Scotland will be coming out in August for a few weeks. It's going to be odd having no homework to do over the summer - like reading or art stuff - but that'll give me more time to work and to do art for myself.
On that note, I've become rather obsessed with Kingdom Hearts, specifically Organization XIII. I have yet to play the actual video game(s), but the fan art and comics of the Organization make me laugh and a few characters have been pegged as 'favorites'. My hesitation to buy the games is, of course, the actual canon aspects of the characters...that I won't like them in-game and thus ruin this for me. Lol. I have weird fears. Even still, through websites, youtube, and helpful fans who have actually played the game, I'm learning about it and am leaning towards getting the game(s) some time this summer.
And, if any of your are KH fans and are curious about who my favorite is, it's Xigbar.

I've got a commission for Silver from MML to finish up, as well as my 1000 pageview thank you art for Maggot from Lilymud.
So yes...this is probably the longest journal I've ever done. Lol.
PS: Like I said, I'm obsessed with KH now. Feel free to talk about how much YOU are obsessed with it in the comments

But yeah. They're still pretty excellent. So. Get them. Get them now while they're still readily available and $20 each. 8D
Heh that actually reminds me of a story. I went to Half-Price Books last summer and bought Final Fantasy 7 for around $40 (it costs so much due to its rarity). I went back in today and it was $75. Blew my MIND.
But I digress.
